On Saturday, April 17, 2021, we will invite the Burke Community to come together virtually for an exciting evening of entertainment, camaraderie, and auction opportunities. The annual Auction for Financial Aid is always a “not to be missed” event, and this year is no different - except you’ll be able to enjoy the experience from the comfort of your own home!
The Auction for Financial Aid is Burke’s cornerstone fundraising event of the year, and its success depends on community involvement. We are proud that Burke has long dedicated a greater percentage of our budget to Financial Aid than most other independent schools in Washington, D.C., without using endowment funds. You help to make that possible! During the pandemic, the need for financial assistance in our community has increased, and we remain committed to doing everything in our power to ensure that all Burke students are able to remain at Burke. More than ever the Auction will play an absolutely vital role in this.

- Attend the Virtual Event and Raise Your Paddle on April 17th: Each year at the Auction, attendees participate in the very special "Support-a-Scholar" paddle raise tradition in support of Financial Aid. We'll be asking our community to join in a "live" virtual paddle raise on April 17th this year!
